vine walked so tik tok could soar: a compilation

tik tok has a much more surreal quality to it then vine

Not to get political but, that’s because twitter announced the demise of vine in October of 2016 and we all know what happened soon after that.

Everything is more surreal now. Things get increasingly surreal as we struggle to cope with a disintegration country. This is an actual real thing that happens in media. Media is a reflection of our anxieties.

Surreal and absurd humor is a coping mechanism, and I love it.

Bofur: And?

Bilbo: And now we’re dating. We’ve been on six dates. All I did was point out a typo but I like him so I’m not gonna say anything

I WOULD PAY TEN TIMES AS MUCH FOR CHOCOLATE IF IT MEANT REDUCING THE AMOUNT OF SLAVES IN THE WORLD? HOW IS THIS ANY KIND OF PROBLEM.

good news, you can! the company’s called Tony’s Chocolonely and their entire purpose is to make slave-free chocolate and reform the chocolate industry.

Whole Foods carries it. If you don’t want to support an Amazon-owned company, World Market carries it. You can also buy it directly from the company.

It’s the best chocolate I’ve ever had and it’s 100% slave free. Tony’s Chocolonely works really hard to push for transparency within the chocolate industry and actually has and is following an action plan to eliminate slavery within cocoa production. They’re good people who make good chocolate.

A list of slavery-free chocolate companies:

Crazy how the main three chocolate companies in the US are all terrible

Jesus Christ!!!

Never buying chocolate from a store again

If you can’t find this, Cadbury’s plain milk chocolate bar is also certified fair trade ✨

Not witchy, but if you use chocolate in magic, it’s always better to use some from ethical sources, for magical as well as ethical reasons

Tony’s chocolate is actually the most delicious thing on this earth pls support them
